Permanent Contract / Full Time: Stock Management Manager, M/F

The industrialisation of the company’s first products requires a good logistical organisation, in particular a follow-up of the stock of materials making up the marketed products and the research and development prototypes.

The stock manager manages and optimises stock management (incoming and outgoing goods) to minimise stock levels without risking stock-outs. In close liaison with suppliers and transporters, he/she designs and coordinates the entire supply chain within the given timeframe. He/she sets up the storage of products (surface area, storage, product rotation) in accordance with the sales departments and customer demand. He/she supervises the processing of orders, ensuring that costs and deadlines are met. He/she is the guarantor of the availability of goods.

The main tasks will be :

  • Setting up and managing a database of component references and providing indicators on stock management
  • Order management (order reception, storage, referencing in the database)
  • Preparation of BOMs (Bill Of Materials) for the manufacture of electronic boards or mechanical systems (preparation of components, stock removal, etc.)
  • Interaction with the R&D department to anticipate component requirements
  • Monitoring supplier performance criteria (delivery times, quality levels, compliance with conditions negotiated by the company)
  • Checking the quality and quantity of goods received
  • Negotiate alternative solutions with suppliers in case of malfunction, sometimes in a hurry
  • Monitor sales and forecasts to ensure product availability and supervise the preparation of orders.

Profile required:

We are looking for a rigorous and organised person, motivated, capable of evolving in a multidisciplinary and rapidly growing environment. The work will be done mainly in the company’s production workshop and R&D laboratories. IT is omnipresent in the activities because of the logistics management software.

A 2-year degree such as a DUT in “Logistics and Transport Management” or a professional degree in “Transport Operations or Logistics”; any previous experience will be a plus. A good level of English is preferable.
