Permanent Contract/Full time: Quality Engineer, M/F

Context

Our team is currently composed of 37 people with different backgrounds, cultures and experiences.

 

Missions and responsibilities :

 Reporting to the General Manager of Operations, your tasks will include:

  • Ensuring that the company’s products and processes meet established quality standards by identifying deficiencies, developing corrective actions and implementing quality control systems. These activities are all placed within the ISO9001, ISO13485, GLP, and possibly other medical device or medical testing related quality standards.
  • Leads company-wide continuous process improvement efforts, including :
    • Define and maintain standard processes, both at the engineering and organisational level, in collaboration with the relevant teams
    • Defining generic checklists and quality measures for processes, projects and activities
    • Manage the continuous improvement of company-wide processes through periodic project and process audits, working closely with project and process managers and ensuring that projects/activities meet the quality standards defined for the company.
    • Reporting on the quality parameters of the organisation (project reporting is the responsibility of the project managers)
    • Commission and conduct project audits at various development control points
    • Maintain the documentation, instructions and training programme of the overall                quality system, making them easily accessible and usable for all involved.
    • Prepare company-wide (quality) management reviews (are we making progress?) and propose plans for progressive and strategic quality improvement.

 

Profile required:

 We are looking for a motivated candidate with at least 5 years of experience and the following qualifications:

  • M.Sc. degree in an engineering science
  • Formal training or diploma in quality management (e.g. ASQ)
  • Experience in ISO9000 and ISO 13485 required (GLP, ISO/IEC 17025, NF EN ISO 15189, ISO14000 and CMMi are pluses)
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project
